Skykomish River, WA Date Fished: August 18, 2008 4:00-6-00pm Size and Species: 4 to 10" rainbows Flies Used: #10 Orange Stimulator, #16 PMD Emerger, #16 Adams, and #12 Pheasant Tail Nymph.
Other Details: Fished the Skykomish River in Monroe, WA. First fish on a fly rod. Got hits on 2nd cast. Got a hit by a 18in rainbow but missed him. Great place for first time fisherman.
Nason Creek, WA Date Fished: August 22, 2008 6pm to 8pm Size and Species: 3 Rainbows up to 12" Flies Used: Parachute Adams #16 and Pheasant Tail Nymph #10.
Other Details: Fished near Plain, WA. There were a bunch of Bull Trout and some Silvers that you can see in the water.
