Black River, White Mountains Arizona
Permalink

Spent the late morning fishing the Black River in East Central Arizona. With a below average snow pack and limited run off, the river was running just above base flow. The water was slightly stained, but offered good visibility. I caught three small brown's 8, 10, and 11, all in deep fast moving cuts. The fish hit a brown #16 VFG Nyph, dropped off a #12 Blue Winged Olive.
